Accidentally stumbled upon the band's S/T album in early 2008, and it was the first instrumental record I truly enjoyed. Decided to look them up on bandcamp and was very pleased to find another release! Does not disappoint!
Awesome guitar driven post-rock, except that it exudes an overwhelming calmness that sets it apart from the countless other guitar driven post-rock bands and albums out there.
I have listened to this album over 40 times since I bought it a few months ago and it is musical zen.
It is centreing and calming and just a superb album. Just buy it and support these amazing sounds!! Cassiopiea
Discovered this album by complete chance, and as lovers of We Lost The Sea, Russian Circles, and Dumbsaint it connected instantly...that ability to engage, build up and crescendo a story purely in the instrumental sense with no spoken word is extremely powerful...so immersing. Whilst we were so happy to find this, we are also saddened to realise that this, at present, seems to be the start and end for Audrey Fall... and that makes it all the more precious. glennandjo
